Our ever popular You Gotta Have Bard summer camp for children aged 8 to 13 years has been in residence at The Micro Museum at 123 Smith Street (between Dean and Pacific Streets) over the last three summers.

Up to twenty children (some as scholarship students) participate in each one-week curriculum that includes costume- and prop-making, stage combat, storytelling, dances and the world of Shakespeare with exploration of selected plays.

The idea is to excite literacy and creativity through Shakespeare, and students will experiment with simple Shakespearean texts to introduce them to the Bard's language.
